Michael Collins GAA ventured into Washington, D.C. to play the D.C. Gaels in a Division match on Saturday, July 13, 2024. Michael Collins fell short by a few points but it was a great morning of football despite the rain!

Michael Collins GAA hosted the first annual Old Town Classic men’s Gaelic football tournament at Bishop Ireton High School in Alexandria, VA! Clubs that participated included Pittsburgh GAA, Washington, D.C. Gaels, Baltimore GAA, and Winston-Salem GAA. All clubs met up afterwards at our platinum-level sponsor, Murphy’s Grand Irish Pub, for a post-tournament banquet. It was a great day of football and fun!

Michael Collins GAA traveled to Pittsburgh, PA to play the Cetlics on Saturday, May 4, 2024! The clubs met up afterwards in Pittsburgh for a night of fun. A huge thanks to Pittsburgh GAA for hosting the match. Our clubs have developed a great relationship over the past year and we look forward to playing again soon.

Michael Collins GAA gathered at Murphy’s Grand Irish Pub for a Season Kickoff Social on Thursday, April 18, 2024. It was a fun evening of pints and bites! Club Chairperson, Jack Foley, said a few encouraging words about the upcoming season and talked about the progress Michael Collins has made this past year. Michael Collins GAA gathered for its first full practice of the season on Saturday, March 16, 2024. It was a successful morning of sprints, kicks, and tackles! Michael Collins GAA participated in the Celtic Festival in Arlington, VA. The festival was hosted by Samuel Beckett’s Irish Gastro Pub in Shirlington. The club sold t-shirts, raffle tickets, and initiated a recruiting event. Thanks to everyone who stopped by the tent!
