Fresh off a Plate win at the 2026 GAA World Games, the Michael Collins boys look to defend their title this weekend with their first match beginning at 11:10AM ET.

The lads won a hard fought victory over the Germans here in Waterford, and we are stoked to get back to it next weekend in Richmond as we battle for the @mid_atlantic_gaa Men's Football Division Championship!

Thank you to @tramoregaa for being such gracious hosts and inviting us to share in their club and culture. A wonderful celebration with one of the oldest clubs in the GAA and great craic with the club, our French friends, Argentina, and the Pittsburgh Pucas hurling club watching the Spain vs France quarter final at The Ritz here in Tramore.
A great day at the @gaaworldgames as the lads lost a heartbreaker in the first and rallied to come back and win our first match of the tournament in the second.
We'll be meeting up with our new friends at @tramoregaa for the GAA World Games twinning event this evening and look forward to a great one!

Tough day on the pitch, but a big week ahead as MC takes on two more teams tomorrow and Wednesday! A great night out at the @gaaworldgames parade in Waterford! We had a chance to meet up with our friends from @mid_atlantic_gaa hurling and camogie and enjoy some tunes in downtown Waterford.

Please join us next week for a day of Gaelic games at Four Mile Run Soccer Field in Alexandria and a social after hosted by Michael Collins in Old Town at @alexandriamurphys beginning at 3PM. All are welcome. Match schedule is available in the second slide.

Join us tomorrow, Saturday, April 25, at George Mason University for our Home Tournament Invitational. Come see the @mid_atlantic_gaa football teams battle it out against our friends from @raleigh.gaa as we get an exciting TRIPLE HEADER here in Northern Virginia!
Matches will begin at 2:30PM and conclude by 6PM.
We will be playing on Field 3 which is located at 4609 Rapidan River Rd, Fairfax, VA 22040.

DIVISION GAME DAY:
Gaelic football is BACK and the Division will kick off with a day of our tournaments hosted by @baltimoregaa at Herring Run Park (3700 Hartford Rd, Baltimore, MD).
Alexandria's hottest team will take on Baltimore and @dcgaels in a doubleheader to defend the Mid-Atlantic title.
Matches begin tomorrow, April 18, at 10AM.

A handful of the lads who are also proud Hibernians spent some time assisting the Poor Clare Monastery at St. Louis here in Alexandria yesterday with a day of service from our sponsor the Ancient Order or Hibernians in Old Town Alexandria. We're proud of the partnership between our Club and the AOH, the lads who spent their Saturday morning volunteering, and the spirit of service among all of the men in our community!
